Dear GooberHPD:
Hello!
I'm sorry that we can't make compensation for hacking.
Please make your password enough complicated and never give away your password.
Thanks for your question and continue to enjoy the game!
Best wishes.

Haypi Kingdom Team.

Being a paying customer, I expected at least some investigation and my troops to be restore. Instead, all I get is this. The disturbing part isn't even Haypi's lack of help but apparently lack of security. No one knows my password, meaning it must have been obtained through the system - which means my new password is as useless as the last. You would think Haypi would be able to compare IP addresses to find the culprit but instead they wash their hands of it.

Anyone that plays this game knows it becomes an obsession, but my faith is beginning to waiver greatly.
Er

Hmmmm......it is always a wise idea to read the licensing agreement you signed off on before you started spending money on this game.

If you had, you'd have expected that response from the support staff, or perhaps you wouldn't have even asked them.....

Re: Hacked Account Apparently - Support Does Nothing

all valid points, however, i think we cant over look this, HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR PASSWORD? -answer: yes

then what is wrong? -someone hacked my account and messed things up and spent my coins-

well, did you message them? -yes, but they say they cant refund for hacking-

well, you should have read the agreement that you signed. - there was never anything about someone else stealing stuff from me, and me not getting it back when its not my fault.-

well, you see it is your fault. the only way someone got your account was if you gave away your password, or if it was someone elses account, and you just got it but the original player wants it back, or hey, maybe its because you chose an easy password as your password. -but shouldnt haypi have better security measures?-

Let's recapp, haypi is not responsible for your password getting into other people's hands, and you agreed to their terms, which clearly state that your password is your responsibility, and that haypi does not have to reimburse you for hacking. so, in a way, you set yourself up through a long series of events.

I have no idea what the heck you're talking about. Support is some of the nicest people in the world. Hacking is obviously very rare, and who knew it was you? Like, seriously, it's probably someone you know playing a prank 'cause they know how you act and therefore know a code you coulsd pick. Of course support could have done nothing, as I barely understood one word of that () that you posted earlier.

On the point of your password! I just had a thought!

You use the forum correct? Which is the same pass for your haypi account, therefore if you have a Trojan in your computer they can easily get your pass from that! This is unlikely but it is still your own fault for not having the latest anti virus and doing regular checks ;)

Re: Hacked Account Apparently - Support Does Nothing

Being someone who knows him, you guys are idiots for blaming him. He did everything right, had his account hacked and troops destroyed. Support was unwilling to help. He's the type customer you want to keep. That's his gripe. Making up stories about him giving away his password is just BS. If you don't know, don't make up stories.

From what I saw, he had a huge army and was going on vacation. Reduced the size of it so he could feed it. Went on refuse so he couldn't be attacked. The troops were left out, which probably frustrated someone who ported to attack and then couldn't. I know that's frustrated me in the past. He finds out his troops were sent to there death after he went through all this trouble. He contacts support and then gets a letter like that. I would be p***ed! That's how you loose a customer.

Goldlegion- as far as i know s37 support is inactive.

Above me ^^ forgot your name- No need for serious language. Support did what they could. It's almost impossible to hack this game. that's why its on ipod. And support wouldnt take someones troops away either. MAybe his protection didnt last his whole time he was gone? Maybe he bought the one for 5 days and he was gone 6 days?

Re: Hacked Account Apparently - Support Does Nothing

While I can see why you would be upset about being hacked everyone has a point. And on top of that the app is free. They never did force u to pay anything to play. U decided to. I am sorry to hear about ur troops but what can support do? If they refunded everyones troops every time some said they got hacked everyone would be yelling hacked every time they lost troops. Again I am sorry about what happened to u but there is just nothing anyone can do.

Re: Hacked Account Apparently - Support Does Nothing

Hey there,

From what i can tell - see - read from everyones posts here..
basically the point of it all is... is NO support cant help people whom have been hacked, i have also been hacked myself.. with a password that was by NO means guessable.. nor told to anyone either.

it was actuallt a 9 digit number that was written on the back of a books bar-code that i was reading when i downloaded the app. now if someone guessed that.. MAN they are good!! haha i just happen to be good with numbers in my head.. so i remembered it.

Now i also wrote to support, and was a little disapointed with the response also.. although i do see there point and why they are not able to do so, as ^^ has said whenever anyone cried wolf.. they cant just come running.

i believe that if it came to a point of many accounts being hacked then yes there would be something done about pib pointing whom the "hacker" would be and a way of barring them or the device... ALSO on that note..

at the end of the day.. i do believe that (im so dearly sorry i cant remember your name) the person whom started this post was realistically more disapointed IN the RESPONSE, it was a quick and simple..

sorry too bad, your loss, there is nothing we can do..

maybe, if there was to be a little bit of an explanation as to why, support was unable to help, and a little "sympathy" in the fact that there IS nothing they can do.. instead of a simple.. "harden up cookie". maybe you would have felt a little better with the response..

i think the " no-care" factor is what got you to "bite the bullet" and see it as a care-less act for there players and members.. certainly those whom buy coins within the game.
