Re: Lv 10 Forts

i didnt say it was a full fort. i watched a guy attack it, then i stole it under his nose, as you so cleverly pointed out.

precisely you didn't provide any details and just replied

"15k more than likely"

"yeah, like 25 to 30k especially to prevent loss"

"im not the best person to ask, i usually just steal them from people. however, this once, i took one with 30k cavs"

it is misleading and what if the thread starter attack a full fort with your 30k cav answer and wipe out his whole army?

Re: Lv 10 Forts

The key to Cav farming is wiping the inf in 1 hit. Turn 1 you hit fort cav, Turn 2 inf & archers, turn 3 cats.

It depends on your attack stats as to how many you will need to clear the inf. Really you need to calculate your hit ratio using a lower level fort or oasis, ie send 50 cav at lvl 6 oasis, look at war report turn 2 your cavs will lose, but you will have a quantity that hit inf and attacked first (in my caes 36 cav killed 121 inf) so to work out my Cav to inf ratio 121/36 = 3.36

So with my stats (max attack tech, max gear and 95 points in attack) I kill 3.36inf with 1 cav.

So to clear lvl 10 fort inf in 1 hit I need 180000/3.36 = 53 571.

Now add in an addtional 2k for losses to archers and cats, 56k should be the safe amount for me to clear a lvl 10 fort, assuming traps and turrets are cleared.

Re: Lv 10 Forts

If one may ask how to take something, you always base it off of a "unhit" one. Because the worse someone could do is have too many cats and just easily take it.

Re: Lv 10 Forts

gabe brings an interesting point. always bring more than what you think you will need. Also, scout the target frequently, even while your attack is on the way. cats work really well for taking forts. but as good as cats work, take some inf or archers with you to block the attacks.
