Language in chat, I am completely disgusted.

I have been muted once for speaking in Spanish and I have seen the rule I will post it here.

The official rule is to be speaking in another language, there has to be a conversation going on with at least 3 people. As i said in my earlier post.

i try to keep chat clean, but im not(and i doubt ever will be) an expert. that makes it harder to keep chat clean. s1 has gotten really bad, though. the newer servers are waaaay cleaner.

bahpen THAT IS NOT the official rule. their is NO OFFICIAL RULE haypi does not give their experts the right to mute for someonespeaking a different language. it is their responsibility as someone raised above the rest to either 1 try to communicate with this person via pm or in game mail. 2 translate it and make sure they are not cussing. or 3 talk to them in private. using this persons language via translator

This has been brought up many times. Languages other than English are allowed to be spoken in wc as long as it is a legit convo between 2 or more people and it follows the rules of Haypi. If it's spamming or breaking the rules then it deserves a mute, otherwise I let it be.

I think that people speaking in other languages that know English (which most of them do with a few exceptions) should all speak in English, if they wish to communicate in other languages they should do so in letters or pm but not alliance or world chat (exception: if the alliance is an all different language speaking alliance such as Korea on s2)

The main reason why the expert said it was a rule is because it's kind of spoken as a rule. If you can't speak English, then why dl a game in English?

The only reason we have to have this language "rule" is because some users decide to break rules in other languages which some people are not sure of what their saying.

It only takes one person to ruin the fun of ten people.

Well when I was muted I said Lo siento which means I'm sorry and she muted meh. But it's alright I used that 5 hours to become lvl 10
