To non-coin player, what you guys doing every day in game?

no if you start spending over $500 your a biot of a moron ive only spent ab bout $15 and have had great fun and not got bored

I just started using coins and it is a hell of a lot easier .But what i did to get up fast :

1) if u want to get into a fight then leave troops out so people will see them and attack u, You could also provoke somone who u knows army and have them attack u when u have little army out then take ur whole army out and slaughter them
2) I would Make my sub either close to me or FAR away from everyone. They cannot take ur sub if u make it far away but you can divide troops if your cities are close to you for HUGE ARMIES .
3) i would farm inactives for resources ( i realize it might take a while to max your resources based on your warehouse lvl since your army isnt that good yet) But i would then start upgrading resource building. Then build your army which should be cats or cavs probably cats to start and cavs late game when ur amazing
4) Talk in WC and get to knowing people so ull have something to do when bored. Join an alliance that has an active AC

AC=Alliance chat WC= World chat
If you think one of my ideas are off tell me, I was making this up as i went along considering this was what i did when i was bored

Im not judging but i would guess that he comes from a rich family and doesnt have a job that pays for haypi yet. But i could be off and he could have a job and be rich who knows

This is all personal preference but I just feel that you don't receive enough bang for your buck buying coins. I mean for the amount of coins haypi forces you to buy, the game really never adds new content, fix ongoing issues, or balance out aspects of the game that needs balancing. I'd get more in detail with what I mean but I'd rather save me the headache of typing that out via iPod keyboard.

Truth is I'm just a poor school teacher! I'm embarrassed to say that most of those s8 coins were wasted due to lack of experience, which is why I've been able to get even more prestige in far less time on s13 while not spending nearly as much money....
You're right duping, the game is intensly boring. Why are we all so addicted to it, though? It's kinda ridiculous!
In answer to your question... There's lots of things to do to make it more interesting....I myself like to train new generals in the ways of the force. It adds an extra level of excitement to the game having a crew of generals that depend on you for so much.....
And you gotta think outside the box..personally, I am currently organizing 'fight clubs' where generals try and hold down different level forts for a week, with a point system for troops and a point limit for how many troops you can challenge a general at a certain level fort with.
This creates a fun way to fight and earn prestige without having to spend money on buying coins. Add to that there are prizes for generals that successfully hold a fort for the week, based on troop size.

I survive without coins and still play and level descently. I spread my cities across the map though, trying to have one branch down each hundredth parallel, strung horizontally across the line 100. However, if you already placed your cities poorly, id suggest maxing your hidden attack skill. Your distance isnt a much of a factor on a hidden attack.

Also, ive gotten to lvl 15 and barely attacked human players. Most of my pres has been from city building upgrades and troop building, lately a lot has been coming from building turrents on all my cities as I finally got my techs leveled up.

Make a new city and place it anywhere near where you think is the best place to find targets.

Syl is right. Haypi doesn't deserve coins bought ATM, they havnt added anything real in months.
