You cant talk in world chat unless you speak English?

Still experts shouldn't mute. They should pm the person or if no one is going OH MY GOD they cussed then they should let it be! I am for him and against him as spears had a good point

World Chat should be English only and a mute should be issued after a warning imo because its for everyone then everyone should be able to understand

There seems to be a lot of confusion about his. Can we please get a clear ruling from support (not experts).

This is a letter I got from support, I would like to know if the policy is still the same or has changed:

This has been brought up many times. Languages other than English are allowed to be spoken in wc as long as it is a legit convo between 2 or more people and it follows the rules of Haypi. If it's spamming or breaking the rules then it deserves a mute, otherwise I let it be.

From what I know, the policy hasn't changed.

There is no rule against speaking another language in World Chat. The only standard Experts are supposed to follow regarding this is that if it looks like spam or the person is clearly not having a conversation with someone THEN they warn the person.

If you get muted for having a conversation in World Chat for speaking another language, screenshot it and report it. It's not allowed to mute for it unless you are breaking the rules.

The game was made in English because English is spoken around the world but that doesn't mean EVERYONE speaks English and they shouldn't be reprimanded because of it.

No Expert here can post a rule that says not to speak English in World Chat because one doesn't exist. Experts have taken to making up their own rules that they see fit.

just posting to be a smart A but if they dont speak english how will they understand warning? also if an expert gave a warning in their language over wc wouldint he be breaking rules?

surely they must understand a little English, as they do have to read what does what in the game? and just to clarify that was my opinion

agreed with sybil. If you don't speak English why do you play this game? I am sure in the future different languages of haypi might come up.

Point is it's discriminatory and not against the rules. Nothing else to argue about.

I've never muted for non English speaking chat. I just put it through a translator to make sure they aren't spamming or breaking other rules.
