If she never logged into another account all she should have to do is press start. I always thought the default password would just be the account name but I'm not sure.

And yeah that's not supposed to happen, accounts shouldn't be made by simply pressing start. Ha accounts are supposed to come from Task 35 which would have the password of the account you completed that task on.

So once the glitch is fixed would that mean my friends would be able to create proper accounts, or do you know wether they would just have to keep the ha accounts?

You'd have to ask support that. If they knew what's good for them they'd allow them to make new accounts.
