That city is much more valuable being maxed in terms of your pres gain, than scrapping it to build a new one. It's all in the building of troops. If you do things right, you can rack up 25-30k+ a day per city just using your population and resources to build troops.

Now I will not give away my method (that's a secret reserved for me and my people), but it really is the second easiest way to get pres aside from pouncing on exposed armies. Do those two together and...well...you do the math.

Although I don't know the "secret method", I do agree with the troop building, I've gained around 330,000 pres in the last 3 days from tower and troop building, once you get up to lvl 8 forts you really don't have to wait for resouces to build and so all your doing is waiting for civs!

With max main you'll get 639 an hour, so every 4 hours you can build 249 cats (also assuming you have a lvl 20 warhouse)... 249 cats, with a lvl 20 barracks, takes 4 hours and 50 mins, so while your waiting for that last 50 mins to pass you can build cavs/inf in preparation for your next fort raid! Multiply this by 5 cities and your building roughly 5,000 cats per day, if you multiply that by the prestige gained by an average cat build (I think it's around 10 but don't qutoe me lol) There's your 50,000 pres a day without having to start over from scratch!! then if you tower build, it's just an added bonus!

Re: Bland gameplay

I think Aurix is aware of all these methods and is suggesting that building troops and farming gets "bland" after a while. Obviously his army is large as he brought up the point of suiciding in order to maintain. I agree with his rant and think people often quit at this stage of the game. I personally only city drop for 30k+, and fail more than succeed and I think wiping players when they sleep is cheap and equivalent to using bait or chum to hunt/fish. It's unsportsmanlike. All other attacks i just hope to get lucky and avert the push notification with hidden attack. I'm not hating on the game, it's great, i'm simply giving my honest critique.

---- edit ---
Cancel that... I hadn't city jumped in a while and $4 dollar city drops, moving and hiding, are not worth the prestige at this level. For 30k, ill pretty much only do it if i hate the person.

Re: Bland gameplay

Games reaching a point where the game play gets stagnant is inevitable. You must keep in mind that not all games will appeal to everybody that checks them out.

For a player like me, one that breaks down the parts of the games to their mathematical core this game still have some mysteries to crack. Other players crave a more engaging "real-time" experience in combat, and will indeed find Haypi's to be bland in just a few weeks of playing the game.

Really, it's all just what they say. Different strokes...

Sameh, that statement reaffirms my argument that experts are inherently overpowered. Thank you.
