Locking a topic?

I'll just point this out....

Threads asking a question should NOT be locked until the topic creator has replied. Locking it after someone has replied and not giving the creator a chance to reply is a big issue in my eyes.

Threads in the middle of discussion, if on topic, should not be locked. Even if the original question has been answered, if they're discussing the topic, don't lock it.
