Ratios

I would like to know if there is a ratio of this much army can kill this much army. Like, how many inf will kill 1 cat? How many calv will kill 1 cat? How many archers will kill 1 cat? How many inf will kill 1 calv? How much inf will kill 1 archer? And how many archer will kill 1 calv?
I understand there are a lot of variables. I ask because I just want to know ABOUT what to expect, I know it wont always work out that way. The answer I'm looking for is if the opponents are equal and if they were both moving forward. I just want a general idea. Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance for any helpful answers

Re: Ratios

It really does depends on alot of things, assuming they have max speed, it is very different fighting one with all attack than someone who uses all defense, army combination, city defense and whether they command and how they command all have a huge factor in battle outcomes.

The best thing to do is to attack oasis and fort to gain some basic understanding of battle then start with fighting lower level players, the more battle you fight the more experienced and confident you will be at gauging a fight and picking the right amount of troops to attack with.

Generally I just use overwhelming amount of army to kill off my opponent cleanly, if I find an opponent with a large amount of army that I am unsure of, I will scout them out with a cav or an inf to gain more details such as army size, city defense and army speed.

Re: Ratios

Thank you for the chart, but I'm not quite understanding it. Is the top what's attacking or what's being attacked? And the decimals, does that mean it kills a partial unit?

Re: Ratios

The top is whats being attacked.

The decimals mean that one unit has a better chance of killing the others (of course this could change if the attacker/defender has differnt level items, better techs etc etc.)
