My Opinion On Haypi
Hi all,
My IRL name is Alan. I've recently started playing haypi and to be honest I stumbled across it whilst browsing my girlfriends iPhone (as mine is broken) on the app store. As she doesn't have any games and I am not allowed to purchase any on her iPhone
I had to look at free games. I started with the usuall boredom busters I.e copter, falldown ect. But then I looked at the strategy games. To be honest haypi kingdom didn't exactly catch my eye the name suggested it wouldn't be the sort of Game I'd play (as I'm 20 and the name for some reason struck me as being quite a "childs" game) but I had a look and saw it had a decent review so I thought why not? It's free right?! When I first started I couldn't quite grasp what the "aim of the game" was so I just built troops and tried to attack people (as you do lol) but I found that it didn't work like that. I then noticed WC and yes like most I did my joking around on there got muted a few times (thanks fail whale) but when I asked questions they were promptly answered by experts and even other players which was a big help! I've even had players pm me information which again is a very nice thing to do. I guess you could say this isy review of the game and to show my appreciation to the players that do help us noobs!! At first glance it looks confusing (I mean who reads tutorials nowadays?) but after a while I got the hang of it. I'd say haypi kingdom is the top strategy game available for the iPhone/ipad, it's got so many different levels and interaction goals that it makes the game basically futureproof as you can just play and play! I have referred a few friends to the game and are awaiting their feedback also but I'm sure they'd like it. I just want to say thanks to everyone that's helped me and other new players. I do however have a few "concerns". WC needs to be monitored a bit more strictly if young players are playing this game for example the other day a 14year old female player was getting harassed by two male players. Now I know they can be reported but is that enough?? Too little too late I say. That'd actually my only bad piece of critisicm about the game.
I know I drone on a bit but overall it's a 10/10 game and I will continue to play! Met a great bunch of people and can't wait to climb the ranks and maybe give my advice and guidance to players one day! No I'm not brown nosing for the people who read this and think omg brian mc brown nose! I'm merely showing my respect!
