Mutes without Warnings?

I'm not the type of guy that gets muted a lot, but I still don't like the idea of experts having the ability to instamute for everything. It's not fair to the normal player. If you mistype a word you could be muted for 5 hours. Things could get out of hand. I've gotten instamuted twice. If I had know that I was doing something wrong in the first place I would've stopped!

There are people who like to get purposely muted. But giving them a warning is still something that is right to do. If they don't follow code then they should be muted. But the guy trying to be funny and says something wrong shouldn't be muted warningless.

The experts have quite a lot of power. They can mute and have lots of influence all over Haypi. Letting them mute without warning won't help anything. If the expert is in a bad mood a lot of people could get muted over stupid things.

That's my take on the matter

1. they only can mute for 5 h (come on 5 h aisnt that much)
2. if chat would be only clean if experts are there that would be bad. so experts are lurking, not giving warnings --> the ppl fear experts and chat stays clean.

I have to disagree people dont really fear the experts and still swear and stuff all over. The other thing is that experts can issue higher than 5 hours it can be 12 hours or an acc ban or even a device ban I believe. But they can't use them all right away

no an expert cant ban ppl... only devs can do that... we can report ppl but evry1 can do this....

Sorry you would know about the expert thing better than me. But still I can't agree with the instamute thing. It's just not fair

That's the thing I think all instamutes are an abuse of an experts power so I'd be reporting to people who think it's fine. That's the whole point of this post I want to get support so instamutes aren't allowed. I probably won't get to far but it's worth a try

Colours is right. It's not abuse of power, it's just the expert doing the wrong thing

The only time an expert should mute without warning is when a repeat offender, who knows his actions will lead to a mute, continues to do said actions...example: player is muted for spamming vulgar words or emoji pictures, as soon as 5 hrs passes, he enters wc and starts all over again, but more so. Or, is muted for racist or perverted jokes....and so on
