archers suck
have atleast 1 archer to give ur catapults an extra attack
they suck because they have less range and less attack than catapults so just make alot of catapults and ull be good

How do you get an extra turn from catapults for having 1 archer?

example
u have 1 infantry 1 cav 1 archer and 10 cats
ur enemy has 3 cats
u send all ur army up 1 move and pause except cats ur cats never move
if the enemy comes to close ur catapult attacks them but their catapult attacks the closet army guy
so an archer gives uan extra turn for ur catapults

I find archers to be effective against inf & some cav.. The few that I have I send with the cats to low level forts & oasis with little to no cats & archers.. That way it reduces the chance that they'll die
(by getting hit with cats&arch)

Well it is a great example, but.., if you just send out alot of inf and cav, then you don't need to waste your upgrading slots to make archers. The others will be good enough decoys.

Shows how different peoples playing styles can be, some find ways to use archers and others dont bother with them lol
