Keep troops from starving?

Lets say I'm reasonable dependent on crop oasis to meet the demands for my army. How can I keep them from starving if I know I'll be gone without internet access for several days? Just stock up on crop and spread my troops around my cities and hope for the best?

u should get lvl 15+ crop lvl 10 crop tech spread ur troops in ur cities get alot of lvl 9 oasis get oasis far away from ur cuty so no1 starves u

Honestly if I were gone for 3 days AND I posted it on the open forums, I'd go kill half my troops so they didn't need to eat beyond my warehouse.

Your chances are +80% you'll be starved if anyone who knows you reads this.
Take half your troops to a level 9 fort, let the NPC's eat them and have your 3 days off without stressing.

Alternately, you could have a trusted friend log in and feed/care for your troops.

Totally agree with this. Better to rebuild for prestige than to lose prestige and all your untis

I mean I'm not going to be gone any time soon. Was better to ask now before I actually do have to leave.

Do what adina said, lessen your troops that u have about 0-5 crop an hour or so without any oasis so that when people try to starve you you don't have to worry
