Alliance Leadership Change Input

Hi everyone,

Many alliances have encountered problems when trying to pass leadership from one player to another. Most problems occur when the alliance leader has gone inactive.

We want to improve and smooth out the general experience in this game and would like your input on what improvements on this subject you would like to see. We will see what we can do.

Thank you very much for your input,
Haypi Kingdom Team

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

I believe the current system for passing alliance leadership requires an email from the alliance leader's original email to support. Obviously this is not an applicable method of transferring an alliance if a leader has gone inactive. What if a vice may request leadership change for an alliance if the leader's account has not been accessed in 30 days?

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

Just wanted to mention that most players who go inactive know that they will be doing so... Why not make the leader just have a transfer leadership option which allows them to resign their position before quitting? As a fail safe an automatic incorporation of muku's suggestion could be implemented to pass leadership to the highest donating vice after say 14 days of inactivity by the leader.... Hopefully the alliance doesn't fall apart in two weeks time.

To prevent abuse of leadership change perhaps limit the alliance to one change per month or even only allow a change in leadership if the ally owns no troops. Giving limitless and free access to leadership change could potentially be exploited until alt abuse issues are resolved. Any changes should be carefully considered, ideally though a pragmatical code driven solution would definitely be a big step up from these days of requiring both player and support intervention to salvage an existing alliance.

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

I think a good suggestion would be to give the alliance leader an ability to make one vice a "super vice" or a "First Vice" which allows him to make all the decisions as a regular leader except disband the alliance. Meaning if the said leader goes inactive, the first vice can change his position to leader, swapping with the leader, change leader to regular member, and do whatever else needs to be done. Obviously the First Vice would be the one alliance member the leader trusts and gets along with the best; the one who cares as much about the alliance as the leader himself.

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

Well.

I think people should have an option in Allie options to change leadership.

The leader can give leadership to vices and step down.
If leader leaves and becomes inactive before leaving Allie. Vices and member mail support to change it.

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

Not all ppl know they are going inactive. Most of the time its not planned. I think all vices should have the option to ask for the transfer of leadership since many times, the vices go inactive too. That they should ask even if they want someone else in the alli to be leader, not only them. I also disagree with the owning no alliance troops since the point of keeping the alli and not restarting the alli is cause of what the alli owns, including the troops. The only time this is an issue is when there is more than one person who wants leadership.

Re: Alliance Leadership Change Input

Back when I stopped being the leader of my crew, my alliance had to have a majority vote by replying to support with their ballot, AND I had to give my consent. I thought this was fair.

I think a good clan that has invested players involved should not have an issue contacting their leader/s, be it ingame, email, text, phone, post or even knocking on their door. If youre investing in a clan short of that, you may be selling yourself short.

Edit: after reading Legits post, I agree there should be some addition of abilities for vices or a single vice (not change leadership though!!). If I recall, there's plenty of great suggestions on that specific matter that you may want to peruse.

I suggest contacting arythy and asking him to send you their links  :?
