Re: Hunting: Cavalry vs. Infantry

He meant 1 inf against 1 cav. lol. I don't use cav much anymore. I used to love my inf archer approach, but now I use inf/arch for most battles. If I know there's going to be lv 10 turrets and cav's, i'll bring cavs and cats. More units to attack and decrease losses with. :)

The best hunts i've seen are:
-lv 13 armor- Masterboo. Don't know details.
-42k used mostly infantry with other troops, don't remember how many. Guyver's hunt.
-39k used 50k infantry 12 hours if I remember right. Timsan's hunt.
-29k used 130k ish infantry for 25 hours. My hunt. Another for about 12 hours that yielded about the same amount.

The biggest determining factors seem to be:
-oasis that hasn't been hunted in recently
-luck, which fortune helps. Always a chance your hunt will fail or be diminished greatly
-speed per numbers hunting

There are other factors too:
-how long. Supposedly over 8 hours brings a chance for a greater hunt than usual
-amount of troops
-carrying capacity

You can hold more infantry than cavalry. I get mostly money hunts using infantry, but my treasure list is usually full, so that doesn't say anything. Lately, i've been hunting with everything that's in each city. Smaller numbers because I couldn't keep up my former army with my schedule this quarter.

Re: Hunting: Cavalry vs. Infantry

so basically, you want to hunt inf in large numbers, because they are smaller, but in smaller numbers, cavalry is better.
