That is a pretty irresponsible things to say... I don't play on the merged server either but how would you feel if you're say level 13, after the merge you find yourself ranked 15000+ and surrounded by level 16+ players with the only half a handful of crop oasis within a 30 minutes radius?

It is a game in the end, if people feel like it's not fun then they leave, telling customers to man up or shut up is not ok.

If my server were to merge I am not worried because I am one of the bigger players, but at the same time I wouldn't want all the smaller players to get bullied out of the game either, where would be the fun in that?

I like the new merger but the crop oasis is pretty crappy. But the player with the biggest and faster army will do the best. I'm a high lvl 18 and ranked 160ish so there are a lot of "big" players. Plus if you need an oasis u can just always just take someones crop :-p

Seriously, this map is Third World Africa. The only upside is your oases will be farther away from you, but then again tons of other people will be trolling that same spot...
Crop prices have been steadily rising, and once the sh*t hits the fan tomorrow they might start soaring as people get farmed and the few forts there are get raided. Worst case Armageddon will break out as people get Uberfarmed by stronger people, who will in turn be farmed by the even stronger people. Best case, expect close calls with starves/wipes and lots of attacks, especially if you're still in a populated area. I can get promoting competition, but like Backburner said, what's the fun if the weak get overrun by the strong?

there is a need for more crop oasises period. not a flood but the right balance......you just put 4 servers worh of active people together adjust accordingly.....call that audible and fix this mess :geek:

Even just the same number of oases as had been on one of the servers previously would be perfect. There are far fewer oases and forts on s101 than there were on s1. Given that there are 4x as many people, I think this is way imbalanced.

I know everyone else has already said this, but it's important, so I'll say it again: if you can't build because some high level is your neighbor and keeps taking your precious crop oases (of which there aren't anywhere near enough), you most likely may well quit. Quitting people = less income for Haypi. There's plenty of space on the map, no good reason not to add a few more oases sprinkled around here and there, and forts too.

I agree completly There seems to be too many players on the map but bot enough oasis. They should add more oasis to the map because people with larger armies are starving quickly. In my area there are a few byt they are taken, i am currently living off of level 6 and 7 oasis which is not nearly enough to put a dent in the negative. They should either add more oasis or make it so each level you go up will be able to hold more than you have, for example lvl 15 can hold 7 oasis they should bump it up to 8 or 9 and move it up each level like that. My point is FIX IT!

I remember thinking a while before the merge that my current server (s3) seemed to have enough resources to be able to support twice the number of active players who were on it. This was probably intentional, because I have heard when the game first came out, you could build one city per title level rather than 1 for every 3 levels. Obviously, more cities = bigger army = more resources needed. Now we have a server with 4x the people and only 1/2 the oases. And a lot of those are the big guns, whose cropflows could easily top five times that of an average player. Not the best of situations :/ There would still be competiton if there were twice as many oases, not to mention a spate of alliance wars to find out which server is top.

Whatever the case, I would be quite interested to hear support's rationale for such a lack of resources. In the meantime, take advantage of the abundance of wood oases and load up on cats :P .
