In-game Battle

Hello,

So I have been trying to figure this out for quite a while and still I have had no success. When you attack someone, which is pretty much the point of the game, you have the option to command your army.
How???? I am so confused when you actually click command... Does anyone have or would be willing to make, a comprehensive guid with screen schist and etc, including battle strategy as well as tactics for victories?

You have four options in regards to commanding your troops 1 move foward 2 wait 3 backwards 4 recall troops . In regards to targetting you are able to select which of the four types of troops you wish to attack its quite simple.

atm i dont got my ipod on me but i can teach you about commanding. just tell me your troop numbers please or troop types

but as wickerman said those are the basic commands but each troop does different

I have infantry archers calverly and catapults in ranging numbers of quantity. Yes I understand how to move them, but what are like 'tactics'.

most common tactic is hold all this is if you outrange the catapults and they dont got you beat in cav with max speed

hold all except cats-->target cav
hold all except cats-->target archer
hold all except cats-->target cats
hold all backwards cats-->target inf till they die

Tactics will vary depending on the opposition. If their offline most if not all players will place their troops on wait and let the opposition advance to their destruction, if they online its a completely different ball game and how the opposition defend is up to the indivual as they have the added advantage of traps or turrets if your attacking their citys. You will have to work out ur stradegy while the attack is happening no one can give you a set tactic you can apply. Remember you have only 20 moves before the battle ends at which time if you havent completely cleared all of the opposition including traps and turrets it will be a draw. And you have achieved nothing apart from your loses.
