"Haypi on a Ha'penny" Challenge

Hi all

I am a fairly new to Haypi, and it occurred to me that rather than having to suffer for not paying our way through the game with the coins system, we gamers who either opt to or cannot afford to pay out to play this marvellous game could get together and see how far we can get "on a ha'penny" (for free) as a challenge.

I invite veterans of this method to post here and tell us how far they have come, as well as newbies who feel they are up to the challenge!

N.B. Please understand I am not trying to undermine the 'shop' system, I appreciate it is how the game generates revenue. I am merely trying to find some fun for us hardcore skinflints

Well wut I do is get a few coins say 10$ jus to get enough cats to farm forts

Well I am currently a level 16 in server 3 and have never paid a Ha'nothing for the game. Best way to get coins is pvp. I have played in all of the competitions and have gotten 100 coins from each. I even got up to rank 58 in the second competition (only 2 away from getting 300 coins in that one) and never spent any money on coins. I'm just spectacular!!!

Also, I have all level 15 treasure (except only a lvl 10 ring of course) and have never used any coins on these either. These were simply acquired through some hard work of farming forts and inactives, selling the resources, and paying the big bucks on the market or through helping out my fellow players in the game who then felt kind enough to reward me with a lvl 15 treasure at lowest price. Bling bling!!!

The only advantage I feel I miss out on is the teleporting to attack quickly, but I am still moving up the ranks anyway....just slowly.....

I am currently level 13 and on my way to 14 and have never spent money on coins - I did get my welcome 30 coins, and got 20 from a friend referral and 10 from a daily gift once but I never spent any actual money on any

I don't understand what takes me so long to level. I wish I was lvl 9-13. Rofl

lvl 11 108k prestige...but ia buddy paid a debt of mine off with 3 ten dollar itune cards and that went to haypi...also lost my ipod for a while...its not as hard as people will think to lvl without actual invested money sure its harder but if you start saving your money at an early stage you can lvl quite quickly...no coins and i have my scepter already.

I don't see how people have so much trouble getting prestige. I created an alt account and in around 3 weeks it's level 9 (10 in p). I only upgraded my city and build troops.
