system stops alliance attack?

If the alliance is fighting a city and one of the member gets the city while some other members has sended armies, will the system stop alliance attacks?

when the alliance members troops get to the city they will just be sent back to that alliance members city
so yes it does stop alliance attacks

Yeah, I don't think alliance members can attack each other.

They can't, that's why the troops get sent back....BUT even if the attackers weren't in the same alliance, the troops would be sent back because a change in ownership occured

At first, I always thought that I would lose the troops. Then they came back.. ^_^
