Duel
Now there are no armies left in cities, despite me posting a public health warning about all the nasty diseases and monsters (including bigfoot) your troops will encounter whilst hunting oasis. I even offered to clear cities of thieves and muggers during routine visits by my army, to ensure the safety of your troops.
So, to relieve the boredom, I propose duels:
* Contact a non-alliance player, preferably of similar prestige level to you
* Agree number of troops on each side (eg. 100,100,100,100 each)
* Pick an oasis that's occupied by one of the players
* Player who owns oasis sends his troops there, other player attacks
Note: I've made a Palringo.com group called "hk duel" where people can arrange duels in realtime.
There are three rules:
1. Don't cheat - send the agreed number of troops in to the oasis.
2. Don't attack the players cities, etc., during the duel.
3. Don't hassle users for a duel - if they don't reply, assume they don't want to duel and try someone else instead.
Then you use your skills and tactics to win the battle. The winner takes a small amount of prestige, the loser learns a few new combat tricks.
As you get better at doing duels, you can try different numbers and combinations of troops - eg. rather than both sides having same troops, they could choose different balance to make the battle harder.
Note: You can do duels even if you are on war refuse.
