Well holds true for S10. People are playing foolishly wasting coins to speed up to get to the top. Even more so there are those that make two accounts and buy each one coins so they can feed one main account prestige its how that person did it in pvp and how he is doing it on S10

there's one guy constantly making accs he uses them for coins then says the pass on wc I've seen him do it like 5-8times
