enhancement vs upgrade

What exactly is the difference between upgrading equipment and enhancing it? I always assumed that enhancing it increases its strength in whatever category (defense, attack, fortune, speed), but I never really noticed a difference in anything after I had equipment enhanced. Also, now that equipment can be upgraded by using money, is there much purpose of enhancing the equipment? I'm just a little confused on the differences and what they do

enhancing and upgrading are GENERALLY the same thing. They both add extra points - upgrading adds 2 attribute points per level upgraded, enhancing gives a percentage of the total attribute given by the equipment. thats why you upgrade and enhance.

Upgrade gives a bonus in absolute figures and enhancement gives a procentual bonus on the actual level of equipment. For example a lev. 10 sword gives u plus 20 attack point and a enhancement of 12 would give round about 50% on that 20 points - means another 10 points
