the best places to hunt are in oases that you have just resigned or that havent been hunted in for a while.
i reccommend 3.5k cavs for 8-12 hours or 6k inf for 8-12 hours as this may produce nuggets.
increasing your fortune and speed can also influence the outcome of hunting

Try hunting for around 5k cash for nugget and 12k for the gem. If you have high fortune it has a good chance to convert to treasure
