Cats or Cav?

What do you prefer to fight with, and why?

Both, I utilise both mainly in a mixed army made of all types. They are amazing used together because when coming against cat armies the opponent does not know which to target as they will lose to one of the sets of troops , when against solo cav armies you get added protection and additional cat power in the cav vs cav fight to further weaken there caves.

I use a catapult/infantry army, with 1 cav and 1 archer. The reason for this is if they have catapults I outnumber them (most of the time) and if they have cavalry I just send my archer or cav forward when the cavalry comes too close to stop them from killing my catapults. A two turn delay is usually enough (archer delay, cav delay) for me to completely weaken them. Nathan's idea works well too though.

I use both in my army....I have about 65% cav and 35% cats if I was gonna say about my army.

I use both about 70% cat and 30% cav mainly because my cats are the ones doing most of the actual fighting and my cavs are more or less just there to bring back as much resource as possible...

once shooting skill is high enough your cats will kill cavs first turn followed by inf/arc then lastly cats before any of them get a chance to come close to your troops....

of course it is nice to have some inf to take out any traps there may be...

I use mainly cats/inf I build cav if I need to get somewhere fast with no troops

16 k cavs are a neccessity for farming players for 399900 resources at a time though so a mixture is needed
