Beginners' Guide for Haypi Fish

Welcome to Haypi Fish! I am your guide in Haypi Fish and I'll help you get familiar with the game step by step. Now let's start the amazing tour in Haypi Fish.

 

1. First let's learn about the Main Interface

Mood Status: It shows the average mood of all the fish you have at your home. Fish grow very slowly when they are in bad mood.

Bulletin: Whenever important news comes, this bulletin bell splashes. Click it to read the news.

Seaweed storage: It reflects the status of your seaweed storage which is food of your fish. When the figure gets negative, it indicates that your fish eat more than you can produce. While the figure is positive, food production meets the exhaustion well and you  have fish food in good stock.

Level and experience: It reflects your current level and how much more experience you'll need for the next level.

Money / Coins: They are the currencies that circulate in Haypi Fish.

Mail: You can click Mail to enter your mail box in Haypi Fish.

Main menu: You can click this button to enter the main menu.

Move / Rotate knobs: Use the Move knob to go to and fro, left and right; use the Rotate knob for better angle of view.

 

2. Let's learn about other basic operations


Fish: Click on a fish and you can see details about it.
Drift Bottle: Click any drift bottle in a scene and you'll see its detailed info.
Adornment: Long click any decoration in a scene to edit it, say, move or sell it.
Seaweed: Long click any seaweed in a scene to edit it, say, move or sell it.
Breed: Click the icon to see breeding details. You may visit your friends' home or your contact and select their mature fish to breed new fish. Note that the fish in reproduction cooling period are not available for selection, but you can use coins to clear the cooling time.
Locate: Click the icon to locate every one of your fish collections and collect money that your fish has produced.

 

3. Fish

Type: There are 3 types of fish in Haypi Fish, namely, racing fish that excels in racing, beauty fish that excels in beauty, and wrestling that excels in strength.

Racing fish -- Its special property is speed and it is qualified for racing contest.

Beauty fish -- Its special quality is beauty and it is qualified for beauty contest.

Wrestling fish -- Its special quality is strength and it is qualified for wrestling contest.

The fish is now qualified for wrestling contest

Status: There are 3 stages of status, namely, immature stage, mature stage, and senior stage.

Immature stage -- Your fish is not yet mature, disqualified for any contest or breeding. Its growth attribute tells you how much more time it needs to grow mature. You can also apply a magic agent to speed up its growth.

Mature stage -- Your fish is mature now and mature fish is qualified for contests and reproduction. When a fish gets mature a reminding icon will appear in its detailed info and fish list  (refer to the table below).

Senior stage --  Your fish is in its retirement age and it cannot work any more. You can only watch it or sell it.

Properties: Fish have 4 properties, namely, special property, wisdom property, luck property, and life property.

Special property -- Different types of fish have different special properties, qualified for different contests. The higher value the property is, the more possibly the fish ranks high in World Ranking.

Wisdom and luck property -- Higher wisdom and luck property value makes up if a fish lags behind in special property.  The higher the value is, the more possibly your fish achieves well in a contest and the more brilliantly your fish may rank in World Ranking.

Life property -- Once your fish steps in the senior stage, all they can do is to take rest. Therefore, you are strongly recommended to cream off the performance of your fish in their mature stage.

 

4. Home / Fence

Home:  Your home level determines the size of the sea you are administrating on. With higher home level you can grow more weeds, own more adornmentss, and raise more fish.

 

Fence: Fence defends your home against dangers while you are offline. Sharks attack sometimes. When attacked by sharks, your fish lose their life value. With fence of higher level you can protect your fish better. One plus is that the higher the level is, the more attractive the fence looks!

 

5. Main Menu and Other Functions

Shop: It is the place where you can purchase anything you need in Haypi Fish.
My Fish: It shows all the fish you own and list their stats.
My Info: It shows the current state in your aquarium, including your home, fence, and seaweed storage etc.
Task: Task rewards for completed tasks are generous which sure will help you a lot in the game.
Friends: You will see your friends' homes beside your home if you have extended an invitation to them.
Contact: It enables you to make friends or visit other contacts' homes in a quicker way.
Chat: You may chat with players from all around the world.
Drift Bottle: You may throw a drift bottle in the sea and some day someone in somewhere else in the world may come across it and pick it up.
Contest: Your fish may enter contests to compete with other players' and show they are the best!
  Rank: It tells you where you are listed in World Ranking.
Collection: Click it to see what fish you have.
Buy Coins: When you need in-game coins you may click the icon to buy.
   
Other Function:
Fishing: Click the icon to cast fishing nets. If you catch any fish you'll be rewarded with money.

 

6. Functions you can do with other players' homes

Breed: You may visit your friends' home or your contact and select their mature fish to breed new fish. Note that the fish in reproduction cooling period are not available for selection, but you can use coins to clear the cooling time.
Vote: When you are visiting other players home, you can vote to evaluating their home.
Pollute: When you are visiting other players' home, you can make jokes, leaving trash behind you to pollute the home.
